About the Destination

Manaa Hike takes the second half of our Jurassic Park route and makes it a trail of its own. Starting from the midway point on the mountain, the 2.1 km descent skips the hardest upper boulder sections and drops you straight into the best part: the green wadi at the valley floor, where the stones glitter and the landscape shifts from rugged to lush within a few hundred meters. It is a good choice for walkers who want the character of the Jurassic Park trail without the full distance. Still rated moderate, since the ground is uneven, but achievable for most reasonably fit hikers. About three hours, with roughly 380 m of descent into the valley.
