Jurassic Park Hike | Tanomah
The Jurassic Park Hike drops 4.3 km down the flank of Manaa Mountain — a descent of boulder-strewn paths, tight switchbacks, and terrain that earns its name from the prehistoric cliffs that tower overhead. The route is physically demanding on the knees, so trekking poles are worth bringing. As you lose altitude, the landscape softens: red rock gives way to a shaded wadi, and the valley floor opens out into a stretch of green broken by stones that catch the light like scattered glass. The contrast between the rugged descent and the valley's quiet ending is the whole point of the trail. Rated moderate — steady fitness required, no technical skill.
