About the Experience
Snake Canyon cuts through Wadi Bani Awf in smooth, twisting passages of water-worn stone. You wade, swim, and slide between the walls, with short scrambles and jumps where the canyon allows. Nights are spent in camp nearby, away from any light. It asks for a steady nerve and a willingness to get wet, but no technical skill.
What to Bring
Shoes that can get wet, a swimsuit, quick-dry clothing, a towel, a hat, sunscreen, a refillable bottle, and any personal medication. Guides, safety gear, camping gear, and meals are provided.
