About the Experience
The Lost River runs through the Eastern Hajar near Wadi Dayqah, a stretch of still water held between high walls. You paddle seven kilometers along it, then leave the boats for a thirteen kilometer trek across rugged ground, past pools cut into the rock. The reward is a part of Oman few people reach, and two nights camped where the only sound is water.
What to Bring
Shoes that can get wet, a swimsuit, quick-dry clothing, a hat, sunscreen, a dry bag for valuables, a refillable bottle, and any personal medication. Guides, safety gear, kayaks, camping gear, and meals are provided.
