Day 3:

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Start your adventure with a short transfer to the marina for a breathtaking private and exclusive snorkeling tour to the Daymaniyat Islands around 7:45 AM on a speedboat.

Touring and snorkeling the Daymaniyat Islands is one of the most surprising and must-do parts of a trip to Muscat, Oman. Nine small islands make up this snorkeling hotspot, with its brightly colored fish, sea turtles, and clear beautiful water. The islands are a natural preserve, uninhabited, completely natural, and protected by a marine reserve. They were designated as a nature reserve in 1993 to help conserve the turtles and fish as well as the coral reefs in the area. In order to preserve and protect the islands, trips are limited by the government. During the months of May to October, tours are not allowed to land. A picnic lunch will be served on board. 1:30 pm disembark at the marina.

Come evening time, you will go off to Muttrah. Stroll along the scenic Muttrah Corniche, soaking in the coastal charm and historic ambiance. Capture unforgettable photos at the historic Portuguese forts of Mirani and Jalali, steeped in Oman’s rich history.

Continue to the bustling Muttrah Souq, where over two centuries of heritage come alive through vibrant textiles, antiques, and unique artifacts. Wander the souq as you smell a range of Arabic scents, try on local Omani clothes, and take in the sights and sounds of the bustling shops.

Get dropped back to your hotel where you can have dinner or go explore one of the restaurants around the city.

Day 5:

Enjoy breakfast at camp at Wadi Dayqah.

Head to Bimmah Sinkhole for a photo stop. The sinkhole is a natural limestone depression filled with turquoise water, often described as a geological wonder. It’s a perfect spot for photos and a brief exploration, offering a glimpse of Oman’s captivating natural beauty.

Reach Wadi Tiwi. This lush wadi, located in the Al Sharqiyah region, is known for its emerald pools, tropical plantations, and stunning rock formations, offering a refreshing escape into nature.

Upon arrival, you’ll take a short hike through the banana plantations and the serene setting of the traditional falaj (water channels), surrounded by vibrant greenery. Soon, you’ll reach the first of many crystal-clear pools, perfect for jumping in and swimming. The turquoise waters are both refreshing and inviting, providing the perfect playground for a few hours of fun.

Scramble over unique rock formations, swim through emerald pools, and explore hidden canyons that lead to the traditional Mibam village. Helmets and buoyancy aids will be provided for this trip.

After emerging from the wadi, enjoy a well-deserved lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor Omani flavors while surrounded by the lush beauty of the area.

Drive down to Wahiba Sands, the golden sand dunes desert of Oman. This magnificent expanse of golden dunes stretches 200 km long and 100 km wide, extending all the way to the Arabian Sea. Steeped in history, these dunes have been home to the Bedouin people for over 7,000 years.

Experience a unique piece of driving through the iconic reddish and golden dunes until you reach the ideal private and exclusive camping spot.

As evening falls, enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner under a star-filled sky, accompanied by the warmth of a cozy bonfire—an experience you won't forget.

Your adventure begins at the iconic Nizwa Fort, where you’ll step back in time to the 17th century. This majestic fortress, with its towering cylindrical battlements, was built to safeguard the city along an important trade route. As you explore its halls and passageways, you’ll be transported to a time when the fort stood as a symbol of strength and prosperity.

From the fort, lose yourself in the vibrant Nizwa Souq, a bustling marketplace brimming with local color. Relax and take in the surroundings before you begin retracing your steps back to the vehicles.
