We believe that life happens outdoors. Over the years Husaak has successfully used the outdoors as a tool to lead people on a journey of self-discovery, pushing them outside their comfort zone in a fun and exciting way. Overcoming obstacles, dealing with challenges and experiencing something new develops skills which aids personal growth.

Husaak creates bespoke programs for educational establishments across the Gulf. For the past 3 school years, the Bayan Bilingual School in Kuwait has scheduled 5-6 trips per year for their middle school graduating class. We have also worked with the American International School, Riyadh amongst others. In 2018, Husaak conducted the first two-week accredited field session for King Fahad University for Petroleum and Minerals with more than 50 faculty and students. The impact on the students went beyond expectations which led to a second accredited field session for more than 70 students and faculty in 2019. Our goal now is to make this program accessible to schools and universities around the world.

Husaak’s educational programs provide students with unique adventures, focused on the following five elements:

Independence and leadership development, the importance of safety in the outdoors (Proper equipment, time and energy management),the importance of teamwork, an introduction to nature, regional geology and archeology in a fun and simple way, and lastly, discipline and time keeping through practical day -to -day activities.

Since the inception of Husaak Adventures, the business has been pursuing the opportunity to change the mindset of the youth. Young people must be exposed to experiences which plant seeds of exploration, curiosity and the encouragement of hard work. Establishing a culture of adventure and self-dependence will ensure young people have the skills to be future leaders and agents of change. The educational programs Husaak offers communicates this to the youth in a subtle and unconventional way that cannot be achieved in a classroom.

THE UNCONVENTIONAL CLASSROOM

This 2-week field session is catered toward young university students. The life skills learned and bonding between participants have yielded amazing results with a lasting impact. In the higher education and academic world, we always focus on the text book side of knowledge, but this is an opportunity to make a bigger life investment in university students and offer them teachings they cannot get in a classroom.

BESPOKE SCHOOL TOURS

2 night to 5-night bespoke packages are available for students aged 13+. Nowadays young people are glued to their gadgets and accustomed to a comfortable way of life. A break from technology, exploring the outdoors and experiencing nature will give them a new perspective on life. Taking this journey with their peers at a young age will teach them invaluable lessons which can help to shape the adults they will become.
