Oman’s newest adventure destination
Located in Quriyat, 75 km from Muscat, Wadi Dayqah is home to one of the largest dams in the Arabian Peninsula. Dayqah Damm was built in 2012 to collect the rain falling from the high peaks and to control the water flowing through to the villages below. The result is a stunning fresh water lake and river which extends 7 km from the main body of the damm.
Husaak Adventures has partnered with Sama Resorts & Spa to activate Wadi Dayqah and turn it into Oman’s biggest and best adventure hub! The goal is to utilize the vast blue lake and surrounding mountains to create a range unique outdoor experiences for local and global visitors.
The site is set to reopen for its second season on September 15th, 2023, and will feature a range of activities including kayak and paddle board rentals, donut boat hire, pedal boats and a mountain bike trail. There is a cafe onsite as well as a picnic area, toilets and showers, perfect for a fun day out with family or friends!

Pedal Boat Hire

Soak in the striking landscape as you hop into a pedal boat and explore the blue waters of Dayqah at your own pace. This vessel is non motorized, and requires you to pedal. This gentle workout is as refreshing for the body as it is for the soul.

Dayqah Day Trip
Operating 4 days per week, our new Day Trip offers pick up / drop off from selected hotels. The package includes 2 Dayqah activities, lunch and bottled water. Choose from kayaking, boat cruise, stand up paddle boarding, pedal boats, row boats or mountain biking. Please note that for children ages 5-8, activities are restricted and that the group size per day will be up to 20 pax.

Camping at Dayqah
Submerse yourself in nature as you camp overnight at Wadi Dayqah. All camping spots offer incredible views of the lake and the surrounding limestone mountains. Campers will also have a designated BBQ Setup, a bonfire pit and a garbage bin as well as access to public restrooms and showers.
VIP Campsite
VIP campsites fit up to 6 people and come with a wooden deck.
