Nizwa & Jabreen

Visit the 17th century Fort and explore the handicrafts stalls and silversmiths at the adjoining marketplace Nizwa Souk. The next stop Bait Al Safah, a working museum in an Omani home gives a true insight into Omani culture. The last two stops are Bahla Fort and the impressive Jabreen Castle.
Eastern Hajar Day Trip

Set off south on the Sur coastal road to explore the jewels of the Eastern Hajar. From Bimmah sinkhole, known as ‘The Falling Star’ to Fins Beach. Ascend mountain as you head off-road to experience rugged scenery, remote mountain villages and the entrance to one of the worlds biggest caves!

Drive 233 km from Muscat to Jebal Shams, home to Oman’s tallest peak. Expect striking scenery and views of Oman’s Grand Canyon “Wadi Nakhur” on an easy hike. Before returning to Muscat, visit one of the most picturesque villages of Oman, Misfat Al Abriyeen. an authentic 300 year old mud village.

Located in Wadi Bani Awf region, Oman’s largest natural waterpark is as wide as 30 feet and as narrow as 2 feet, at some parts. Spend a few hours jumping off cliffs, maneuvering over boulders and exploring lush pools.
Wadi Hawer

This wadi is less commercialized than its down stream counterpart, Wadi Bani Khalid. It boasts running waterfalls and vast blue water pools. Boulder, swim through large wadi pools and slide down natural waterslides. 4-5 hours canyoning.

Balcony Hike
Level - Easy | Ages - 6+
W6 is 4-5 hour walk on an old Donkey Trail that dates back 300 years. The trek overlooks Oman’s Grand Canyon, it leads to the secret lake and the abandoned village of Sab Bani Khamis. The duration of this activity is 4 hours. Available for groups of 8+ or as part of multi day tours.
Summit Hike
Level - Med/Difficult | Ages - 16+
Meet the Husaak team at the start point before sunrise for an unforgettable, and challenging experience to summit the highest point in the Gulf. The hike to the roof of Arabia is a 8.5 KM hike each way, where you will see a shear drop cliff of 3000+ meters. That is roughly three times the height of Burj Khalifa; the world’s tallest building! Who wouldn't want to hike up there?! The duration of this activity is 10-12 hours. Available for groups of 4+ or as part of multi day tours. Ages 16+.
Via Ferrata
Level - Easy | Ages = 16+
The start of the VF is over an uphill climb to the right of the Balcony walk. The first part of the VF is a medium to difficult 80m ascent, the second part leads you to the final climb up to a wadi. The total duration of this activity is 4 hours. Available for groups of 6+ or as part of multi day tours.
Summit & Camping
Level - Med/Difficult | Ages - 16+
Set up camp on Jebal Shams and tuck into our signature burgers. Relax around the campfire and get an early night ready for the next days adventure. Wake up before the sun, eat breakfast and then set off on the summit hike. The overnight summit trip includes transport from Muscat or Nizwa. Camping provided includes a sleeping bag, sleeping mat & tent, The mixed tour runs Fridays throughout the season and the private tour is available 7 days per week.
IMAX Hike
Level - Easy/Med | Ages - 10+
The W4 trail is the first part of the Jebal Shams Summit hike. IMAX is one of the best viewpoints of Wadi Al Nakhr, the Grand Canyon of Oman. The duration of the hike is approx. 2 hours. This hike is available for groups of 8+ or as part of multi day tours.
Caving, Eastern Hajar
7th Hole
Level - Difficult | Ages - 16+
Located on the Salmah Plateau within the Eastern Hajar Mountain Range, roughly a 2 hour drive from Muscat. This trip allows you to adventure 400 feet under the surface, into one of the worlds largest chambers. Caving requires training and therefore 7th Hole is not available as a day trip. Husaak run mixed weekend camping trips on a fixed schedule and private trips on request.
Tahery Cave
Level - Medium | Ages - 12+
Located within the The Salmah Pleatau in Oman’s largest cave network. A 5km hike is required to reach Tahery Cave. Explore this impressive caving system with one of Husaaks highly trained guides. Recommended for those with moderate fitness levels. Husaak run regular weekend trips, private day trips and a mixed tour on Tuesday from November to March.
7Th Hole to Tahery
Level - Difficult | Ages - 16+
7th Hole to Tahery trip involves descending the three big drops of 7th Hole, exploring the cave system and exiting from the other side through the Tahery Cave. This unforgettable adventure is not available as a day trip as it requires training with our team. Husaak run mixed weekend camping trips on a fixed schedule and private trips on request.
