This is our most popular trip and was one of the first concepts launched by Husaak. The Jebel Shams trip takes you on a 2-day trek through some of the oldest rock formations in Arabia, some as old as 600 million years. We'll hike above Oman's Grand Canyon (AKA IMAX) and reach the highest peak in the GCC at 10,000 ft.

The first night of this memorable trip will be spent at Basecamp 1 where you will experience majestic views of the mountains as you tuck into a hot dinner. The next day will begin with a short 5 km up hill walk where you will arrive at Camp 2. Here, you have the option of leaving your overnight bags as you set off on another 5 km hike. Once you arrive at the summit, you will get to sit and absorb your surroundings as you take in the stunning view of Wadi Al Sahtan and the rest of Oman through a shear drop of 10,000 ft. This is an experience you will cherish for the rest of your life.

The team will then descend to camp 2 where we will reunite around a camp fire and have enjoy a hearty rib-eye steak for dinner and sleep under the 5 billion stars of the Northern Oman sky.

On Saturday, we will make our way back to our cars and begin our return journey to Muscat.
