The Secret Waterfall - Oman
The Secret Waterfall is located in the Easter Hajjar mountains and is possibly the only, waterfall running year round in Arabia. With a height of 80ft, this pristine waterfall is a 4-5 hours hike through big boulders, large fresh wadi pools and narrow rocky passages.
Weekend camping trip
This trip begins on Thursday where the team will make their way to one of the Eastern Hajjar Wadis and set up camp for the night. Here, we will enjoy a scrumptious dinner before heading to bed to rest for the following days’ adventures.
The next day, we will wakeup early, enjoy breakfast with the view of sunrise and pack up camp before beginning our journey to the Secret Waterfall. This will take 4 to 5 hours and involves canyoning, swimming, bouldering and even some free climbing. After enjoying ourselves at the scenic waterfall we will make our way to one of Oman’s stunning white sand beaches for a final night of camping.
This trip does not have elevation gain so it is considered easy to moderate but requires a good physical fitness level and endurance. This adventure is best conquered in the summer and fall months and can be very cold in the winter and spring.
