Husaak is looking for a full-time content creator who will be responsible of producing high-quality video adverts, reels and vlogs. The ideal candidate should have experience of the video production workflow, including pre-production, filming, editing, audio recording and outputting. Skill set must also include photography along with some Graphic Design skills.
This position is suited to someone who will enjoy a varied role, is meticulously organized to meet deadlines, is flexible with their time and most importantly enjoys outdoor adventure.
The Content Creator will attend outdoor events, daily excursions/ experiences, group tours, educational programs and team building events to obtain the desired content. The content generated will be used across social media channels, online advertising, brochures and within client proposals.
The right candidate will share Husaak’s passion for adventure and feel comfortable taking content whilst hiking, kayaking and abseiling etc. Please note that many of our trips require camping in remote areas for consecutive nights without access to proper beds or shower facilities
The Content Creator will work out of Husaak’s center in AlUla but will spend time traveling to, and taking content in KSA, Oman and the UAE. The time spent in each location will be determined by planned events and the businesses content needs. We estimate 50% KSA, 30% Oman and 20% UAE. They will be provided a single bed within a shared room in the Husaak center, with access to a kitchen, WiFi and showers. Food is provided on trips and while working from the center. Husaak will cover all work related travel expenses. Please note that this does not include travel costs back and fourth for home visits which would be covered at your own expense.
It’s important to understand that the role is not a fixed 9-5 Sunday to Thursday job. There will be times when you are in the field for extended periods over weekends, working back to back events, shooting content from morning until night. However, to compensate for that there will be weeks when you are in the office editing content or relaxing as you take well earned days off. The job requires someone fluid and flexible with their time.
The right candidate will have:
• Amazing video skills
•A GCC Citizen, free to travel between countries without visa restrictions
•Their own equipment - Professional camera, GoPro, tripods, lighting and all other required gear
• Experience in planning and facilitating video production
• Strong time and project management skills
• Great attention to detail
• A genuine passion for adventure and creative industries
A Full Driving License (and ideally access to a vehicle)
The skills we need:
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Premier Pro, After Effects and Photoshop)
• Experience using professional cameras, monitoring, lighting and audio systems
• Experience with animation/motion graphics and photography would be an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills, fluency in English and Arabic
This is a 12 month contract beginning 1st of September 2022 with 30 days of paid leave. Public holidays are very busy times, you will be required to work and receive the day back in loo. Husaak will cover your onboarding flight ticket/ costs.
